Andritz has received an order from the Indian newsprint manufacturer Nepa Ltd. to supply a complete deinking line. Start-up of the new line in Madhya Pradesh, which Nepa intends to use for manufacturing paper with higher whiteness grades, is scheduled for mid-2016. According to Andritz, Nepa numbers among the leading newsprint producers in India; the company operates two paper machines offering a total capacity of 88,000 tpy. Nepa manufactures standard and economy newsprint grades; the new line will enable an expansion of its product range to include writing and printing paper.
