November could still not settle the price question in some segments of the British paper market, where suppliers and customers are still in negotiations. The price hikes in the graphic paper sector could so far only be realised in the coated segment, where prices were marginally increased. Players in the board market so far also reached no industry-wide agreement and although the long-debated hike for GD board has reportedly been implemented in certain instances, in many cases prices are still valid until the end of the year. Prices in the recovered paper market for some few high grades slightly climbed. Price negotiations in the publication paper sector are about to be entered. Some participants in the newsprint sector have already started negotiations, which are expected to be controversial because suppliers have high demands.
