摘要

Curriculum assessment (CA) is rapidly becoming a hot topic in education, and an increasing number of institutions are beginning to focus a lot of attention on the quality of their academic programs. Thomas Angelo defines CA as an ongoing process aimed at understanding and improving student learning. Though colleges and universities implementing CA programs are growing in numbers, CA is still not widely practiced. Accrediting agencies such as the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) are responsible for providing an external incentive for schools to begin implementing CA processes; however, the primary driver of such programs should be a school's desire to offer the highest caliber of educational experience possible.
