We manufacture electronics assemblies for our automotive customers―Ford, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Yamaha and Hyundai. These companies have stringent quality requirements and focus on fast, effective continuous improvement actions. Our performance ratings depend on the performance of our suppliers, who are an integrated part of operations. Our quality department has gained valuable exposure working with different suppliers delivering the same items. To improve quality, we recently decided to switch from a multiple supplier system (MSS) to a single supplier system (SSS). This critical change was implemented after detailed interdepartmental brainstorming sessions and final consent from our customers.
