At first glance, Microsoft Office 365 looks like just the familiar applications in Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, Access, and Publisher-but offered in a different package. Certainly, it includes these applications, but there's something much more powerful. What the application really can offer is a solution to the challenge of bridging management silos and truly integrating quality management across business boundaries (Figure 1). The solutions can be readily shared, the workflow distributed, and the reports generated and provided to all who need them-complete with a full suite of security features to satisfy the most demanding requirements.
