Following from the success of the Firebird Stratos twin trainer, in which champion aerobatic pilot Quique Somenzini provided major input to the model's ground breaking design, he has now turned his attention to giving sport aerobatic pilots a helping hand to discover the joys of 3-D fixed wing flying. Teaming up once more with the highly innovative design staff at Horizon Hobby, Quique's latest signature series model is a classic closely coupled, mid-wing fun-flyer. Thanks to the wonders of moulded Z-foam technology the designers have added a wealth of curves to a type of model that is often represented by box fuselages, and very nice it looks too.
