Welcome to the September issue of RC Model World. In last month's magazine I mentioned that my flying buddies at the weekends were few and far between. But during the week my two local clubs are much busier with good turnouts being practically guaranteed by retired clubmates. Which leaves me with a bit of a problem as I reckon that my monthly model flying time would be more than halved if I had to wait for another pilot to show up. So, rightly or wrongly, I often go solo.
