For many modellers the change from glow power to petrol has been daunting, mainly because there hasn't been a ready supply of smaller capacity engines. The Zenoah series became the mainstay and is still the preferred unit of many who build large models because it has a reputation for reliability and ease of obtaining spares. Latterly with improving quality of Chinese products the market has seen an upsurge in smaller petrol engines as you may have seen in RCMW. The NGH GT17 fits the bill for medium size models.
