The fully built-up airframe is constructed from balsa and much use is made of laser cut plywood resulting in an airframe that is light, durable and strong. Designed to fly using a conventional .46-.52 or J4-.82 four-stroke glow engine, the P-40 may also be powered with an electric motor.
