The Graupner mx-16 HoTT combo consists of a full-range, 8-channel, computer transmitter on 2.4 GHz, supplied with a matching 8-channel GR-16 HoTT receiver. No servos or accessories are included but the transmitter comes with a high capacity NiMH battery. So, what exactly is HoTT? HoTT is Graupner's replacement for its earlier 2.4 GHz systems. The 'Ho' indicates a frequency hopping system and the 'TT' means that this system has the latest 'must-have' - Telemetry Transmission! For those not familiar with the term, telemetry means 'remote measurement'. This gives the ability (with suitable sensors) to monitor the model, in real-time, from the ground. This is a significant advance in radio-control technology and I'll return to HoTT later on.
