This year saw the 25th anniversary of Wings & Wheels Model Spectacular at North Weald airfield, making it the longest running R/C show in the country. Whilst the sun didn't see fit to shine for the occasion on the Saturday morning, by lunchtime, it thought better of it and shone for the rest of the weekend to celebrate the occasion. As usual there was a great mix of models on display, though Saturday's flying was made a little difficult due to a crosswind, which kept the WWI types on the ground. The crowd were still treated to some superb flying though including an impromptu low pass and landing from a full size Spitfire.
