My work on the small Waco has somehow ground to a halt. It doesn't help by taking a couple of weeks off in Germany with the MG Owners Club. Without boring you with details I did manage to visit the Zeppelin Museum at Friedrichshafen during our stay. This is a very impressive museum, as you would expect for a flying machine that commands so much interest. I have managed to complete the radial cowl and the ailerons apart from the corrugations. I am working out ways of attaching the struts although once the model is assembled I don't think that it will be stripped down. The tail unit is more or less finished with only the fin fairing to complete and the elevator horn to fabricate. I do like to make my own elevator horns for models like the Waco.
