This is a great little model with everything you need to get flying a 'real' model helicopter (apart from the 8 AA batteries for the transmitter) in the box. It is also helpful that Merlin have included the spares to help cope with those minor mishaps and also tools for completing construction and making any adjustments. The flight performance is gentle and should not be intimidating for the beginner, but having the idle-up facility, will provide even the most experienced pilot with hours of fun. The inverted flight and aerobatics were not tested, not because of the limitations of the model, but my own limited flying skills. I am sure in the hands of a 3-D pilot there would be no problems.
