The success of the weekend means that plans are now in hand to hold the event next year on the equivalent weekend. Co-organiser Steve Bishop said: "In spite of the problems we had a very successful event. We managed two full days of flying and visitor numbers were greater than expected." He added that improvements would be made next year with a major item being the introduction of a shuttle service from the car park to the show area, thus removing a tidy walk! Steve added: "We had over 60 pilots on each day and they did a fantastic job with good safe flying." As an afterthought he told me that the Eastnor Show was the first ever venue that he flew as a show pilot, when he was nineteen-years old. He didn't say how long ago though!
