Pilots and spectators from all over Gauteng attended the 27th Bi-annual Electric Fly-In hosted by the White Hills Radio Flyers club, in Centurion, South Africa. With its informal and relaxed atmosphere the pilots and public were treated to a day of fun and new experiences for some. The White Hills Radio Flyers (WHRF) club played host to approximately 200 people throughout the day, with more than 100 cars counted within the parking area. Fifty-eight pilots registered for the event, with just over 100 models in various states of build, display and flight, making this the largest electric powered (EP) event held in South Africa to date. On display were examples of all forms of electric power from own designs to the latest ARF's, sports to scale models, fixed wing to helicopters, EDF, foam shockies and some very large models.
