Promises! A photo of an uncovered model with a very labour intensive structure appeared in this column in the May issue, with the quote: "This is a super kit for the real builders amongst you, more news next month." The promise of 'next month' was not honoured, not because it was not covered in time (that was a delightful exercise) but because the weather was so terrible that it did not get the opportunity to fly. It was desired the first flights be made from asphalt or short, smooth grass. The club that flies at Long Marston were kind enough to permit me to use their asphalt runway, so on the first suitable day, I was there with Greenfinch.
