My interests in R/C flying are now devoted to scale, and early biplane types of The Great War era especially because of their delicate robustness and graceful appearance in flight, with every aircraft having it's own independent characteristics. The Shuttleworth Sopwith Pup (3004-14/N6181 'Happy') is original, although built in 1918 as a 2-seat Dove, and reconverted to Pup standard after being acquired in 1936. It is now holds the civilian registration G-EBKY. My many visits and photographs taken at Old warden were appreciably aided by a lot of assistance from the enthusiastic staff there to whom I am really most grateful.
