Let's face it, whatever the airflow does around our models, if they fly well and are under control, we don't much care! That's unless you're into competitions, i.e. duration flight or pylon racing. Secretly, we're interested in aeroplane design and performance; and in those well-thumbed, aerodynamics texts, we occasionally happen across that enigmatic 'index' Re - the Reynolds Number! However, Re numbers are more likely to instil visions of cash rather than have aerodynamic significance - they're the sort of figures we would like to win in the lottery! You can forget that dream, so let's just contemplate Reynolds Number!
