1. In March 2008, Lockheed Martin was awarded a contract from Romania for the co-production of 17 TPS-79 radarsrn2. Lockheed Martin has already provided two prototype TPS-79s to Romania as part of a 2002 contractrn3. The TPS-79 is developing interest in many areas of the world; however, possible customers do not want to be identified at this time.
