摘要

The fluorescence of air which was excited by fast electrons of 0.5 to 1.5 MeV has recently been suggested to measure the spatial distribution of dose rate in gas phase at room temperature and under atmospheric pressure. The radiation-induced light intensity in the spectral range from 290 to 650 nm apear to be the linear function of the EB dose rate. Accurately determined energy of electrons of small power VdG accelerator was applied to calibration in the method. The first results of the method seem to be promising, especially for gas phase EB irradiations, such as radiation induced desulfurization and denitrification of industrial flue gases
