Welcome to the latest instalment of the SBS Files. Now that I've rearranged my shack, my SBS and RadarBox have been working overtime over the past month, but more on that in future columns.rnIt was great to hear from so many of you about how you log the aircraft you catch on your various virtual radar systems. As I explained lastrnmonth, I am a huge fan of the pen and paper method and I have drawers full of notebooks and logbooks, dating back to when I first got my SBS several years ago.rnThat is on top of the dozens of radio logbooks I have collected, covering what must be over seven years worth of monitoring, not to mention an entire folder that justcontains details from the 2005 G8 summit in Scotland.rnReaders have described many ways in which they keep their logs and like me, Richard Ware is a huge fan of thernbiro and notebook because, as he rightly points out, a biro will work when the power fails, although I guess the virtual radar unit might suffer a bit.
