This book provides records and information management professionals with an overview of the theory and practice of organisational culture within the context of records and information management delivery. While there is an increasing amount of literature regarding organisational culture and its influence on policies and strategies, this is the first book to consider its impact on records and information management practice. The authors of the text, Oliver and Foscarini, are well positioned to deliver insight into this subject. Both Oliver and Foscarini have focused their academic research in this area and, in addition, they have extensive practitioner experience as information managers. They have both worked in a number of countries undertaking information management roles for the public and private sectors. Thus, while the text cites the most recently available academic literature and research, it is written in a practical and accessible style for information professionals.
