Distancing itself from a now defunct periodical that bore the same name, Theatrecrafts.com is well established. It has been around for 21 years, undergoing a substantial reworking in 2012 to update and modernise the interface and make it more user friendly. The editor acknowledges that as such, the site is still a work in progress and invites feedback and additional material. Although not affiliated to a specific university, lecturers and university level students can be reassured that the site does have academic connections. Its editor is Jon Primrose, Technical Manager in the Drama Department at the University of Exeter, where the Chair of Theatre History is Professor Kate Newey, a kev figure in this field.
