More than 700 entries are provided for individuals from the fourteenth century onwards who have made a significant contribution to classical studies. 2. Cambridge Dictionary of Linguistics (RR 2014/259). New linguistic dictionary aimed primarily at undergraduates at British universities. With 3,000 entries is not as comprehensive as one of the main competitors, David Crystal's Dictionary of Linguistics and Phonetics (6th ed. 2009) (RR 2009/223).
