Right from the "get-go" the preface of this book tells us what we might expect, r. Watts offers us "a short glossary" which he admits "cannot be encyclopedic in coverage. Many writers may quibble at the choice of topics for inclusion [...] some references seem briefer than might be expected" and so on. His aims are modest and he has produced a modest book. That's fair enough -so long as we know.
