Internet Web 2.0 resources such as YouTube, Flickr, Google programs et al. have the potential of bringing a targeted community together. The challenge is to bring all of the positive concepts of these resources into one easily accessible resource. TeacherTube is one site that works with these Web 2.0-type resources to provide a rich environment for teachers. TeacherTube is an ambitious project conceptualized by a teacher from Texas, Jason Smith, his wife Jodie and his brother Adam. The original goal of this internet resource was to provide teachers with the ability to communicate with colleagues by sharing videos that could be trusted as instructional aids in the classroom.
