摘要

The waste water of electroless nickel plating solutions contains a large amount of phosphonic acid as well as nickel sulfate. Accordingly, the both components should be previously eliminated, when the waste water is discarded. The phosphonic acid is removed as insoluble salt, if being oxidized to phosphoric acid. Therefore, this experiment was conducted to examine the effectiveness of the oxidation of phosphonic acid by electrochemical method. A gold plated anode exhibited activity for the phosphonic acid oxidation.
