American Baler Company recently added new features to its long-running and most popular baler models. The Bellevue, Ohio-based equipment supplier announced improvements to the W721 and W828 models, which are both two-ram balers. Both models now come with a power unit and manifold block, which is designed with Parker DIN cartridge valves on the manifold. They also come with standard directional control valves. “Warranty claims were higher than desired with our manifold blocks and our engineering risk evaluation model led us to these cartridge valves,” said Jim Wolfe, vice president of engineering and customer service. “The new design is easier to build with less errors.” The pumps on the balers have their own pressure control kit for the three pumping stages, the company added.
