Optical sorting systems manufacturer BT-Wolfgang Binder GmbH has partnered with Innov-X Systems to create a new high-volume sorting system that effectively separates heat-resistant and leaded glass from clean glass cullet.rnCombining Innov-X's unique QXR-G - high-volume X-ray Fiuorescence - and BT-Wolfgang Binder's REDWAVE - high-volume system with optical sorting capabilities - technologies, the system is being touted as "a welcome solution for glass processors worldwide, who have long been challenged by such commingled contaminants as glass ceramic and lead."
