摘要

With the conventional evaluation method of the curing speed (using tack-free time) of a fluid sealant (referred to as a gasket), evaluation of the cured state of the surface of the discrete gasket is possible. In contrast, a method using heat analytical equipment enables an evaluation of the cured state to be conducted in an assembled condition. This evaluation method was used to study gasket specification and the flange shape necessary for joining an aluminum flange with the steel plate of an engine oil pan.
