As another year draws to a close most of us will be looking forward to a well-earned break. 2006 has been an odd year in many ways. In the main it has been about change, from the way we record drivers' hours to the way we clean up our trucks' emissions. Next year we could face punitive revisions to the way driver's hours regulations are enforced. In a nutshell the government is trying to push through legislation that could make operators totally responsible for their driver's actions.
