摘要

A new magnetic undulator structure for free electron lasers with two beams is presented. The permanent magnets have alternating magnetisation, transversal on direction beams. The transversal magnetic field component produced by magnets are spatially periodic. The X, Y and Z magnetic field components were analytically and numerically evaluated. The versatility of this structure permits new developments in the undulator design.
