Congress has been notified that the Government of Iraq is interested in buying more than two-dozen Bell 407 armed reconnaissance helicopters. The 26 aircraft can carry a two-person crew and five passengers each and, once modified, would carry rockets, machine guns and Hellfire missiles for the Iraqi Air Force. The U.S. Department of Defense approved the sale, which could mean $366 million for Bell Helicopter.
