摘要

Annual production of light military rotorcraft more than doubled between 2006 and 2010. A total of 94 such rotorcraft were built in 2006, and annual output rose to over 200 units by 2010. Build rates have moderated since then, however, with 163 units produced in 2011 and 180 in 2012. During the next 10 years, annual production will follow a somewhat erratic track, but the overall trend during the period will be downward. Many light rotorcraft acquisition programs are nearing an end, while very few new-start programs are in the works that would help yearly production grow or even remain level.
