摘要

The paper presents a method of measuring the structure of traffic, based on the ground vibration generated by moving vehicles. The measuring system, which uses the presented method, works according to a classical model of pattern recognition process. The method of extracting features based on the wavelet transform was developed. The choice of the classifier's algorithm was made experimentally. The algorithms were tested using signal recordings performed in typical road conditions.
