This paper shows the possibility of the use of IR thermography for testing the operational parameters of water radiant ceiling systems for heating. The study showed positive results regarding the efficiency of different types of ceiling panels in a function of the level of homogeneous surface temperature distribution. Experimental results were supplemented by theoretical calculations performed with the use of a special equation originally dedicated to sun collector-calculations.
