What started in the seventies as a risky and ambitious development project became a success story for MOWAG. Today, the technology-minded company from Kreuzlingen sets the world standard for protected 8x8 wheeled vehicles with the PIRANHA III. Meanwhile, the successful product from Eastern Switzerland is used by ten nations. Today, more than 3'700 PIRANHA III, Canadian LAV III and US-American Stryker vehicles are either in use, in production, or on order.
