摘要

Results of the study of the diatom flora from surface sediments of the Amur River Estuary and adjacent areas of the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk are presented for the first time. This study revealed high species diversity of diatoms: 287 diatom taxa belonging to 80 genera were identified in 35 surface sediment samples. The ecological composition of diatom assemblages allowed us to evaluate the influence of the Amur River runoff on adjacent areas of the seas.
