It is that time of year again ... I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous 2008! Entering into the spirit of the season, I recently received an e-mail from the UK HSE and the first thing that my eyes fell upon was "Myth of the month - office Christmas decorations banned", the subsequent article went on to explain that each year some companies ban their workers from putting up Christmas decorations in their offices for'health and safety' reasons, or requiring the work to be done by a 'qualified' person! Is the world going crazy or do we really need to be protected from ourselves?
