Despite a noticeable lack of more mainstream manufacturers picking up on the type, the La-5 has been remarkably well-kitted in most major scales, including the rapidly growing 1/144, which has seen two new toolings in recent years. Zvezda's kit is a snap together model, and excellent in outline although let down by the canopy, while the 2015 tooling from Kovozavody Prostejov has so far seen no less than five boxings, allowing a complete line up of variants and operators to be displayed in less space than a 1/72 Phantom.
