There are a couple of things you need when making this kit - good eyesight and a good pair of tweezers. I have the latter but not the former, so a magnifying visor is essential, as were a sharp knife and wax pencil for photoetch application. Small photoetched parts and my fingers don't go together that well - actually they go together too well, with the parts preferring to stick to my fingers or the tweezers more than they did the kit parts. Perseverance was the key, as was superglue activator, and eventually it all came together. With regards to the markings then the obvious choice would have been the Tiger scheme as per the box artwork, but I try to stay away from the obvious wherever I can and go for one of the others, as I did on this review. When I get the application of Alclad paints right they look amazing, this one came out pretty good I think. This is a very detailed model of the L-29 from Eduard in this scale, especially with the extra photoetched set.
