Detail & Scale have followed up on their initial digital releases with the first volume in their new Digital Colors & Markings Series.The book could be looked as an update to a similar volume they published over thirty years ago with the same title, but to call this an update doesn't begin to describe what you're getting as the digital version has more than five times the content, yet keeps the same price as the hard copy book published in 1983; US$9.99 and includes 476 pages, 725+ full colour hi-res photos, seven paint diagrams and twenty six full colour profiles. The book is logically laid out beginning with a chapter that covers the evolution of paint schemes used on the F-14. High quality photographs with comprehensive captions and diagrams provide all the information a reader could want.
