So this is it, my very last issue of Scale Aircraft Modelling. I'vernproduced over 4,000 pages of this magazine since I became editorrnand it is now time for me to move on. Jay Laverty is your new editorrnand he has some really great ideas for the magazine. He is workingrnvery hard to achieve them and he brings a whole new enthusiasm tornthe job, as well as the eye of an expert modeller - something that Irncould never hope to possess. He deserves your support andrnencouragement. He also deserves your criticism if necessary, becausernnobody can get it right all of the time. But do remember that the job he is taking on isrnincredibly difficult. It is as complex as it is time-consuming and while constructiverncriticism can go a long way towards making a better product, mindless nit-picking is nornhelp at all. There are some very unforgiving people out there!
