I have always preferred the wide range of colours available in the Testors Metalizer range of paints. But like many of you I have been frustrated by the ubiquitous (almost legendary) lack of bonding that always seemed to occur with these paints. Being somewhat pig-headed I've continued to experiment with ways to use these paints instead of moving on to other alternatives such as Bare Metal foil, Alclad II, or SNJ powders. The results of my experiments have been quite successful and were used in the accompanying F-101C build article. Here I will take the opportunity to summarise the basic process.
