摘要

We synthesized 0.5LiFePO(4)-0.5Li(2)FeSiO(4), as a cathode material for lithium ion batteries. LiFePO4 is an olivine group material with reversible electrochemical characteristics while Li2FeSiO4 is a silicate group material that offers a high capacity, and the new composition is expected to exhibit the advantages of both of these poly-anion materials. Nanofibers of this material were formed via electrospinning, and their microstructure is intended to provide a higher specific surface area and a shorter diffusion length for lithium ions during electrochemical processes, resulting in an improvement in the performance of the electrode.
