In all discourses on energy its primary sources are divided into two different categories, non-renewable and renewable. Non-Renewable: All fossil fuels - coal, natural gas, petrol, diesel etc. - belong to the first category because as we derive energy from these sources, the available reserve of the source material gets depleted. Moreover, the emission of green house gases associated with the extensive use of fossil fuel since the birth of the industrial civilization has at present given rise to a problem of global warming. The international community - most of the countries of the world and their governments, have suddenly been acutely aware of it.
