摘要

A new and a known species of the genus Opisthodorylaimus are described and illustrated. Opisthodorylaimus suklai n. sp. from mosses of Calcutta, West Bengal, India is characterized by medium size body (L=1.1-1.3), lip region practically continuous with neck, odontostyle 19.8-20.0 urn long, pharyngeal expansion gradual, occupying half of total neck length, cardia conoid with rounded tip, cardial disc present, vulva transverse slit-like with two oval sclerotised inner lips at the junction of vulva and vagina, tail filiform (228.0-267.3 μm, c= 4.6-5.7, c'= 7.8-9.6). Opisthodorylaimus maqsoodi is reported here for the first time in West Bengal in this observation.
