Ultrasound may be a potential components of IPM for H. thelvora which suffered early mortality when exposed to 20 KHz frequency for 15, 30 and 45 minute per day from 1st ins tar onwards. Oviposition rate and hatching were 0.43710.12, 0.64510.15 eggs/female/day and 4.76±0.46%, 16.6712.89% when exposed for 30 and 15 minute per day, which were 1.0910.23 egg/female/day and 95.4518.24% for control.
