摘要

The polar stratospheric ozone data reported since 1980s when examined it appears that there is a strongly reduced ozone values in the Antarctic. A similar decrease of midlatitude total ozone is almost apparent from the consideration of reported data for almost thirty years. Finally, important milestones in ozone research in comparison to discoveries in Physics have also been outlined from a review of published work over a century in both the fields.
