The Valedictory Session of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Indian Science News Association and 75 years of publication of the journal Science and Culture was held on 6th August, 2010 in the auditorium of Bose Institute, Kolkata. The Session started with an opening song by Professor Tania Das of Bose Institute. Professor Sudhendu Mandal, Honorary Secretary, delivered the welcome address. He briefly explained the activities of the Association. He stated that the Platinum Jubilee celebration of ISNA started on 9th July 2009 and continued throughout the year by holding several seminars and lectures.
